Some time in the future, I might upload here source code for the best Linux directories explorer with embedded terminal - such that just never loses sync, unlike all the existing competition, the best of which is KDE Dolphin.
I certainly don't want to publish this code at Github, because they are just a bunch of censorship morons who can and will fit anything under the labels like "hate speech" or "bullying". Since I deeply despise this, I have just decided to refuse to support their site in any way by publishing there. I am planning to just pack all the files into a zip file, so that the directories structure is preserved, so that it will run properly without having to set up anything, and upload it to some files sharing website and put here a link to it even though they might delete my site for it - as if I cared.
Additionally, here, you just cannot bother me with your comments or silly pull requests. I am not paid to be a manager of kids throwing at me naive attempts for improvement while I have to carefully check and test whether these changes won't break the program completely. More heads equals more wisdom? Bollocks - look at KDE Dolphin - about 20 years of existence and about 320 contributors and they cannot even keep the embedded terminal in sync. They are like kids, each just tending to their own section, not having a clue how the rest works, just desperately attempting to make their piece of code work with the rest while accepting that it does not work always and ignoring bug reports - the bug stating that the terminal falls out of sync is about 8 years old without any action.
If you want to make changes to the code, just download it and do whatever with it - I will be glad if it spreads and someone else makes a fully conforming program out of it - integrated with package managers, configurable to oblivion and whatnot. After all, the main purpose of this site is to achieve this, so that my possible future reincarnation does not have to write a properly functioning directories browser with embedded terminal all over again. I will not include any icons, cos they might be subject to copyright - put your own icons there.
The title of this page says that money will follow, but in this current capitalist freedom, you just can't simply give any money to anyone without hordes of clerks and prosecutors who don't produce anything eagerly stalking your every step in order to evaluate it as illegal based on any twisted interpretation of maybe purposefuly unclear laws - should the stream of donations become too large and/or too steady - none of which is accurately defined - they might go after me and even if they don't manage to put me in jail, I still don't want to go to any courts. And I also refuse to feed this nothing-producing bureaucratic system by establishing some offshoot of it - meaning some organisation with accountants and lawyers, just so that I can alleviate the constant threat of jail - not that I have money for it anyway. Thus, I have decided that without this, not even accepting donations is safe - so where is my money, you enlightened ezo capitalist boomers - which should have somehow automatically flowed to me after my education and hard and passionate work?
